January 23, 20197 yr Commercial Member The wind speed is the same...5 kts. The wind direction is different because METARs report True direction and ATIS/Tower/etc. report wind in Magnetic. The reports in P2A are given in Magnetic to reduce the confusion between what's displayed and what is reported by tower. If you check the METAR display in P2A's Airport Info panel, you'll see it should match. Dave
