FS2CREW FSXSE menu help

I just bought FS2CREW reboot for pmdg 737 and cannot get the menu to display in the simulator.  I have tried setting autofeather to different keys, have verified the panel.cfg has the FS2CREW lines in it.  Im not sure which Steam version i need to install so i did both one at a time and both dont work.  anyone able to assist?

Can you open the FS2Crew Main Panel via the VIEWS -> INSTRUMENT PANEL menu?

i think i went from 2-d cockpit to 3-d and its working now.  very weird.  thanks for replying byork
