That is bizarre because RC4 crashed as it appeared it couldn't play a wav file. Try this please on your laptop.

1) Place your aircraft at the departure gate with a plan loaded. No Ai loaded please. Choose a different airline. Lufthansa perhaps.

2) Open RC4 and load a plan. Choose Debug. Start RC4.

3) Tune to ATIS and press the key sequence to play it.

Assuming that is okay

4) Tune to Clearance and press the key sequence to play it.

If that causes the crash send me the log.

The purpose of this test is to see what happens when you manually request ATIS rather than let it play automatically. I also want to see if another airline changes anything.

Hi; I have RCV4 reinstalled and created a new flightplan with another airplanes and
Lufthansa.

Made the procedure as you recommended (without ShowText):
Pressed  '2' wx , .... pressed  '1' CLR    and no errors occured.
It seems be fine and it works!!

I will try some flight in the next day and give a (final?) information.

But one thing is still not possible: to set .FLT path, I can select it after klick this button  .FLT\.WX path,
but it is not visible. See below.

That’s good news. I wouldn’t worry about the path to your plan folder not showing. It’s not critical just as long as you can load the plan.

ShowText won’t be responsible as it’s just a window to see the RC menu. It could just have been a bad wav file. You could try Swiss again and see how it goes.

Just this: I have seen in winwood (before check it), that   'Swiss'  was in 2 folders.

But, today is sunday, no works just relax.

Here I am again.
I have made several flights using RadarContact, but not 'ShowText' and it worked very fine.
At the beginning of a flight, I have to listen very good, what the tower is saying, to set the
correct squawk code. But after then it is a very realistic feeling for me!!!

So I mean, it's time to say: problem solved.
