August 9, 200619 yr When, pray tell, will our beloved FS be able to duplicate the detail in those images? Zoom down over the canyon and see everthing in photographic detail. Looks to me like it's getting awfully close to what a flight simulator could deal with. I guess maybe when we have fiberoptic super broadband do you think?Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. August 9, 200619 yr I have a feeling that there will be something available this time around with the higher detail available. The problem I have is that you would still be flying over a flat terrain unless there was a magical way to add trees & building over the photo in the exact places.Carmine http://forums.avsim.net/images/wave.gif
August 9, 200619 yr It's already been done with this flight simulator. I think the aircraft modelling blows FSX into the water!http://www.isoma.net/games/goggles.html
