February 16, 20197 yr hello I am back on my sim after a sabbatical of sorts. I am reconnecting with VATSIM. I am trying to locate the areas of medium to high aircraft traffic operating in ATC/ Flight Center controlled airspace in the Western Hemisphere, during Friday nights and the weekend. Is there a designated VATSIM related site, or area, where announcements regarding upcoming gatherings for ATC controllers and pilots are made? Thanks.
February 16, 20197 yr Absolutely... Go the the VATSIM Main Web Page and find the button at the top called "Members" and click the downward arrow to see "Events" Click that button and a list of events and descriptions including date, time, and location will appear Those will be global in nature, not Western Hemisphere Regional. If you want specifically that go to the "ATC" tab at the top and click the down arrow. From the list that populates select "Regions" and pick a region in the area you are interested. Then follow the links to that region and somewhere on that regions homepage will be an event link. Randy Randy Tyndall You never lose the buzz of flying.
