GNS 430 Flight Plan Issue

I am having a problem with the stock GNS 430 in my Bonanza F33A. I can't create a flight plan with it. In the following video, I start up the Bonanza and then access the GNS 430 FLT page. The first odd thing I noticed is that the local airport (KOGD in this case) is not listed. The second thing is that I can't get a cursor to appear so I can enter waypoints.

Is this not modelled in the Carenado Bonanza? Or am I doing something wrong?

Hi Gil,

The Carenado avionics are typically buggy and incomplete, and their GNS is no exception.

Luckily, there are alternatives, and you can equip the F33 with either a proper Garmin GNS430 or a GTN650.

The F33 is actually my personal "go-to" plane so I should be able to help you with this..
