Was that card free as well? The price of the 2080Ti is ridiculous. Shows what you can get away with when you enjoy a virtual monopoly. Why the need for four? Was the first one lonely? 😁 Ray (Cheshire, England). April 10, 20197 yr Author finished and tuned the 9900k and 2080TI ready for P3Dv4.5. the only thing missing know is a 32gb memkit wait for a testkit 4400mhz c18. the cpu runs nice and 100% stable at 5.5ghz HT off the gpu was delivered clean no cooling , as my system is based on a Fractal R6 and AIO cooling both for CPU and GPU. I modified the NZXT G12 to fit the 2080TI and also the X42 is fitted with 2 Noctua fans ( push pull ). After all testing iam very very pleased the gpu runs at 40-50c during max load. one thing that suprized me was the default boost clock 2050mhz ( time spy gpu score 7600) the card is binned and XOC bios. I made one OC profile with boost 2160mhz gpu score 8000 that dam good. Here ia a pic very hard to see thats 2080TI very close to the 1080TI https://www.dropbox.com/s/lea6fod08k960kg/20190409_142550.jpg?dl=0 here is the difference 2080TI - 1080TI naked https://www.dropbox.com/s/uq8kpo88h8mcyze/20190408_193421.jpg?dl=0 http://
April 11, 20197 yr @ Westman how is that combo performing in P3Dv4.5? going to build a new system to from my old i7-6700K to a I9-9900K and 2080 or 2080TI What are the temps of that CPU under load in P3D with that AIO (thinking myself of a 360 AIO)? Thanks for considering sharing the experience... Edited April 11, 20197 yr by awf André

Thanks for considering sharing the experience... it performs very well with the 2080TI have not installed 4.5 yet shall do a clean 4.5 this weekend. In P3D V4.4 the temps is 60-65c with ht off at 5.4ghz and at 5.5ghz ca 70c , it need little more vcore. the temps on 9900k is mostly depend on wich vcore 1.35v 5.4ghz 1.37v 5.5ghz as my cpu thats is really good, a normal value is 5.2ghz 1.32-1.35v that give you approx 60-70c its all to the quality of the silicon , i dont recomend to go over 1.38v with 360 aio or 360 customloop. http://

Sounds you have a great chip there, ok thanks for sharing appreciated 🙂 We are talking about all cores at those ghz, for the record? Edited April 11, 20197 yr by awf André

April 20, 20197 yr Author Tested this CPU with my small chiller watertemp 8C, run cpu 5.5ghz HT on 2 xGalax 2080TI OC Lab Edition ( worlds fastest 2080TI) Tested Tiime spy https://www.3dmark.com/spy/6965794 iam very pleaced can run P3D V4.4-5 at 5.6 HT off 100% stable, the gpus clocking like crazy. here is a pic from the inferno in the cave when testing , foreground test a 4790k with a Aio cooled 2080TI what yoy see is 3x 2080ti one on tthe 3D printer with 2x 1080ti a 1060 ,1070 what you donf see is the sim pc with 7920x and 2x1080ti, amd x1800 1070 https://www.dropbox.com/s/y6rpy1d4oun15ix/20190419_204225.jpg?dl=0 Edited April 20, 20197 yr by westman http://
April 26, 20197 yr Author The 9900k is up and running P3DV4.5 with Fractal Celcius 360 AIO in R6 chassi Cpu clock 5.5ghz HT off mem 4133 c16 vcore 1.34v no throttle as i see other has with +1.42v. run single Galax 2080 TI HOF OC Lab (micron mems) with AIO cooling it have XOC bios ( not for public) 2000w powertarget boost 2100mhz in P3D without any extra OC. max gpu temp in P3D 42C. cant publish any pic over the GPU AIO its expremental NDA. Hooked up a 7980XE on the small chiller and the 2 X 2080TI (samsung mems) that used with the Time spy bench on 9900K , 7980XE at 5.0ghz good effency same settings on the GPUS. 7980XE https://www.3dmark.com/spy/7015803 9900K update. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/6979937 Time Spy CPU test is Hard on CPU if it pass that its no problem with P3D , Time Spy CB15 Rog realbench Aida 64 stress test is good test for P3D ( i always run AVX 0 in bios ). Just for fun 4790k with RTX 2080TI https://www.3dmark.com/spy/6995381 Edited April 26, 20197 yr by westman http://
