Default Audio Device

Featured Replies

Is it possible to send the audio of the GTN 750 to different audio devices? Example... The comm audio to "Windows Default Communication Device".

This is for X-Plane 11, VER 11.32R2

Hi,

The only 'audio' from the GTN are the TCAD, GPWS, TAWS and touchscreen sounds.

What 'GTN comm audio' would this be? Can you please detail what is this about?

I was looking to see if when tuned to a COM frequency, I would be able to hear the COM audio through the headset. (Default communications device)

Hi,

COM audio is managed by the simulator itself. I'm not sure whether you can configure XPlane to select which audio device for each sound channel.

Similar to this question, is there a way to route the GTN sounds to an pc output (sound card) other than the default for x-plane?

I have a hdmi touch screen that I drag the GTN onto which has built in speakers, would be great to have touch screen sounds to come from the actual screen.

Hi,

This is not implemented to support such 'granularity' in audio routing.
