[New to P3D] Need help installing Virtualcol Dash 8 in v4

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I'm new to P3D (been a XP user for a while), and I've always wanted a Dash 8-100, so I bought the Virtualcol series. I have been unable to try it though, because I am unsure of how the installer(s) work. It has one for FSX, which appears to contain the main files, and it has a patch updater so it works for P3D v4? I've seen videos of the Vcol Dash 8 in P3D, so I know there must be some way. Hopefully someone here can help me :D

Thanks!

Just install the FSX installer into P3D and then run the patch updater, which will update the pertinent  files so that the installation is P3D compatible. That's all you need to do. Enjoy!
