April 10, 20197 yr Moderator Hi Oliver - Since I'm sure you have lots of spare time,  😄 I thought I'd throw something in the wish list for a future version of P4AO. The ability to sort the P3D.cfg file by major sections then line items would be a big plus, IMHO. Currently I know of only one program that does this but thought it would be nice if it could be included. Wouldn't want you to have too much idle time now would we???  Thanx, Vic  RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160Â
April 10, 20197 yr Commercial Member Hello Vic, just one question: what for, what is the use case? I haven't taken a single look inside the main cfg for probably more than three years now. OK, another question: sort by what, alphabet? Are you sure that is a good idea, since this file is managed by the sim? There is no telling what a sort might do to the mechanism that reads the file (in general, not P3D specific). Best regards  Edited April 10, 20197 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
April 10, 20197 yr Author Moderator Hi Oliver - Actually I've found it quite handy when making any changes to the cfg file manually. Just makes it easier to deal with. Yes alpha sort - so you have the heading groups sorted and the individual lines in each group as a sub sort. I've been using the sorted cfg for years. As long as the entry is under the correct  heading there should be no issues. Thanx, Vic   RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160Â

Where do I put the button? Edit: never mind. I squeezed the button on the Tools page. 1.40 b01 has been uploaded to the Lorby website just now. April 11, 20197 yr Author Moderator I'll check it out when I get home tonight. If I still had my C++ compiler I would have written a small app myself. Figured it was something you could whip out in a few minutes.  Thanx!  Vic  RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160Â
