May 21, 200620 yr I was considering posting this in a different thread but there are already like 4 of them on this very subject so I figured what the hay.Playing the HD trailer using PowerDVD solved the problem entirely for me. (This was mentioned in a different thread already but some may have missed it). There is also a workaround for playing the trailer in Windows Media Player. If you've already jumped through the codec hurdles and are just having trouble with stuttering, here is what you can do. Open WMP, then Tools > Options > Performance > Advanced > Drop frames to keep AV in sync (uncheck). This will cause the audio to go out of sync but the video should stop stuttering.
May 21, 200620 yr You are quite right.. The opening this file via the DVD player on my PC did pretty good.Dang I wish I had known this earlier.. I insalled some Codec crap and it has messed my FS9. I am getting stutter in FS9. I don't know how to uninstall whatever I installed earlier for WMP. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
May 21, 200620 yr Author I just ran it in Divx and it worked great for me. WMP 11 was a little choppy. Jeff D. Nielsen (KMCI) https://www.twitch.tv/pilotskcx https://discord.io/MaxDutyDay VENGEANCE a8200 Gaming PC: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, GeForce RTX 5080, 64GB DDR5, 4TB (2TB/2TB) M.2 SSD, Win11 Pro
