May 8, 20197 yr In an earlier version of the forum it was possible to tag a post as "best answer" and then automatically getting it displayed as first post of the thread. Is that still possible and if yes, how is it done now? With a terrible long thread it is difficult for readers to find specific post e.g. containing the latest download links. Henrik Nielsen
May 9, 20197 yr It does not. That was payware and I requested purchase and installation a couple of years ago and then followed up several times but there have been too many other high priority things to do. Tom had bought many addons like the best answer but they are no longer compatible with the latest version installed Some were never updated for the latest version. I will try to keep some pressure on for the purchase and installation. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! May 9, 20197 yr Tom had many payware apps that had to be approved again due to the major website upgrade made by Invision, our website provider. I have asked to have them all reinstalled but no approval. We looking at getting a new theme that would be more related to flight simulation too. Updating the AVSIM Guides is on the list. According to Google Analytics we get over a million hits a month so there is a lot of interest. The reactions to a topic or post currently show the good posts so it is sort of a replacement for Best Answer App. Edited May 10, 20197 yr by Jim Young Changed million hits a day to a month. Anyway when I am ready with next update I will clear and edit the first post in the thread and put the service messages there.... 😄 Thanks for your continued efforts to maintain and develop the site.
