Strange characters in ATC window

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

My ATC window has started displaying a handful of strange characters within the normal text. This only started happening yesterday. For example, ATC displayed the following text when I started at London Heathrow.......

"Air Portugal 361 @'d, taxi to and hold short of runway 27L using taxiway L B 28 A N2E NB2E @'d. Contact tower on 118.3 when ready"

The characters in bold should not be there, and they were not there prior to yesterday. I updated my EditVoicePack XL sound clips, but would this mess with the characters displayed in the ATC window? If so, how do I get rid of them?

While I haven't had this problem, you should file a trouble ticket at support@editvoicepack.com

He is good about responding (but keep in mind he is in Northern Europe). What version of EVP are you running? The most current is 5.5.22.
