March 26, 200620 yr How goes the integration with Naturalpoint's TrackIR? I understand there were some issues from some previous comments you made Mike. Please make sure it works, it's an integral part of my use of FS.Thanks,Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
March 26, 200620 yr Technically it should be natural points deal to make sure their software works with FS, not the other way around. I feel your pain though as I just ordered mine, LOLRegards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
March 27, 200620 yr Author Yes, but, having been there before with another software company, it is useful to work with important 3d parties to let them know what's up with the new code and to allow them to test their products before release; early enough so that changes can/might be made where they can be for compatibility/functionality needs. Mike has already spoken about them quite some time ago about the fact their stuff was/is broken in FSX, so I it sure sounds like they are working with them. I was just wondering what the status was, and to let MS know how important this 3rd party is to me.I suppose I should really send something to that MS web address.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
March 27, 200620 yr We had them out for a visit to campus a few weeks ago. I think you can rest easy.

March 27, 200620 yr Oh no. There goes my last excuse not to get it.You guys are killing me, the more info released, the higher the anticipation level rises. Being a 100% VC, GA simmer, I shudder at the thought of how much I'm going to spend.Let's see, track IR, maybe a new PC, yoke and pedals and the most expensive; the inordinate sums of money to placate my wife over the next few years, though she is very understanding (she suprised me with an xbox-360 last week), I've been slowly wearing her down on the fact that a new flight simulator is coming and humurously hinting at what I'll "need" to use it, she's not amused.Ian.
March 27, 200620 yr Either way I don't mind .... I've no intentions of getting it :)"If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter - and therefore, unsafe." http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v615/DarrenA300/unsure.gif Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
March 27, 200620 yr Author TrackIR is an absolute must for GA (or anything as far as I'm concerned). I love it.Along those lines - Opensky is about to release a "fully implemented" VC for a 737-700(?) that is supposedly easy on the frames in probably the next couple of weeks it seems. Looks like I might soon be learning how to fly the big iron.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
