G-BNLN boac 747 is due to takeoff for its last flight from Heathrow to st athan in Wales to be scrapped.

currently delayed until 15.00 UK ( visual landing, weather low clouds at destination)

And apparently when it lands, it’s there forever as with its runway less than 2000 ft it can’t take off again 😞

St Athan's runway is 6000 feet long. As for the "BOAC" in the title, what's that all about? This is not the aircraft that is currently painted in the old BOAC colour scheme..... :huh:
