I use UT Live and out of curiosity I just tested loading up at 2am and the airports I checked were completely packed with overnights.  I am not sure it is as simple as injecting aircraft a little bit before departure.  I know it does inject aircraft and I do see one spawn at the gate next to me every once in a while.  Even KIAD was about 70% full at 2am!  I have never flown during that time in the sim so your comment made me interested in seeing how UTL handled that.
