July 19, 20196 yr Thought I'd put this in one place for people who are having the "missing databases" problem with the latest update to the GTN750 1 - Uninstall the installed version of the trainer which will be 2.5 2 - Download this ... http://download.garmin.com/software/GarminTrainerSetup_2400.zip - it contains the 2.4 version of the trainers AND the databases. 3 - Extract all the files and run the setup program That's it - the GTN should now work correctly Mike
July 19, 20196 yr Thank a lot! This worked for me. When using this link https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/556499-gtn-trainer-6501-download-links-02jul19-update/ I was forced to the update for the installer 2,5), no other options given. The result was the same as the flawed new update that gave me no databases.😀
July 20, 20196 yr Had the no database problem After the latest upgrade for X-plane. Figured it was me. After I followed the manual and created these two environment variables, GTNSIMPATH="C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\GTN Trainer\GTN\sys\sim (6210)\"! GTNSIMDATA="C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GTN Trainer Data (6210)"! Which not only didn’t work with the update, also didn’t work with your delete, reinstall. what are the PROPER GTN environment variable arguments for: GTNSIMDATA,GTNSIMPATH? Thanks, and have a wonderful day! July 20, 20196 yr @mykejb thank you for your assistance with this in the interim! We've now released a new update which works with the latest (again) trainer! https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/534857-20jul19-rxp-gtn-750650-touch-x-plane-v25191-released/
July 20, 20196 yr @hesynergy Hi, what would you like to do, or what issue you'd like to solve, in setting up these environment variables?

July 25, 20196 yr I updated to this 2.5.19.1 and now my screens are all black and none working. Prior to this update my GTN's were working fine without issue. I reinstalled everything and still no resolve. How can I rollback to 2.5.19 that was stable without issue?
July 25, 20196 yr @Wavecourage Hi, can you please post the content of the RXP log files? (see user's manual for file/path)
July 25, 20196 yr Hi, It looks like for some reason after I completed the update, my firewall is now blocking the connection to RealtyXP 32.dll or something.
July 25, 20196 yr So I see McAfee is quarantining the RXPGTNSim32.dll file when loading? Any ideas as to why?
July 26, 20196 yr @Wavecourage the main reason is most likely the same as this: Just exclude any of the RXP files from scan (they all start with rxp in lower case) and this should run ok.
