July 20, 20196 yr I use the x plane G1000 to program in a waypoint altitude and descent angle, enable VNV mode, then the autopilot takes over at the TOD and descends the correct speed automatically. very handy. i've successfully gotten the GTN750 VNAV display to work, however I'm wondering how/if it can connect to the autopilot as well in any of the X Plane payware planes, similarly to how the G1000 works? thanks!
October 14, 20196 yr I'm trying to do this in the real airplane and I came across your post on here... Short answer is no. Apparently it is available with GFC 500 and 600 autopilots but I haven't seen it working yet. So on the sim it is basically a really good vnav calculator AMD 5800X | Nvidia 3090 FE | Samsung CRG9 49 inch monitor | Samsung M.2 NVMe 1TB| 3, 1TB SSDs| 32GB DDR4 @3600 cl 16| Windows 10|X-plane 11, MS2020
