July 27, 20196 yr Most significant would be the increased weights and longer range obviously. Aswell as slightly different engines with improved performance. In the cockpit, not much is changed from its older Md82 sibling. Keep in mind most of the real world Md88 features found its way to the older MD8x variants (efis cockpit, IRS/AHRS, windshear computer etc) Like you, I have only the base package, and havent really found a way to justify the additional costs of the 83/88 variant. With that said, the Leonardo maddog is a piece of art and if you are a big fan of the Md80, I doubt you will be disappointed with the expansion.
