August 20, 20196 yr @joewi_51 Hi, I'm certain the solution is quite easy otherwise the forum would be flooded with similar issues. First, please never ever deactivate UAC on your system. This will cause even more troubles for future installation, but for past installations as well (any software, not just RXP's). Otherwise I've found this KB about how to exclude an entire folder from scanning. It may not be for your version but I'm sure it is similar if not the same for Win10: https://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-do-i-exclude-a-folder-from-being-scanned-[bitdefender-windows-8-security]-1067.html You might want to exclude the following folders: C:\RealityXP\ C:\Program Data\Reality XP\ (NB: there is a space between Reality and XP) C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\Gauges\ C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\GTN Simulation\ C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\GNS Simulation\ And also (where <XP11> is the path to the XPlane 11 folder): <XP11>\Resources\Plugins\rxpGTN\ <XP11>\Resources\Plugins\rxpGNS\
August 20, 20196 yr Hi Jean-Luc, thanks for your hints. I excluded the rxpGTN-XPL-Setup.exe within C:\realityXP\. Then the installation went fine. XP 11 was excluded totally days before. Now I'm going to stop the processing with PayPal. Iam glad thaat it works. I loved it using it in fsx. Joerg

April 27, 20206 yr I am trying to purchase the GTN 750 for X-Plane. I had difficulty, so I went into Norton and added rxpGTn-750-XPL.exe and rxp-athome-2020.zip to the Excluded File list in my Norton app. The EXE file was "blocked because it could harm your device." The ZIP file was allowed to download. Is there another method for me to download it? I do have F1's application installed on my computer, if that helps. Neal Guernsey Edited April 27, 20206 yr by RXP
