August 12, 20196 yr I upgraded to the latest version and it said I needed to install the Garmin trainer. I have done all that and I now see GTN: failed version in the plugins menu structure. I have done the whole installation, including reinstalling the Garmin trainers, several times and get the same result. What should I do?

August 12, 20196 yr Author The trainer installed is the one that RXP automatically installs. Is this the log you mean: 19/08/12 13:47:41.794 03124 - ] # win.xpl version 2.5.19.1 19/08/12 13:47:41.794 03124 INFO ]
August 12, 20196 yr Is this the only 'rxp' log file there is? You might want to review the User's Manual for file/path.
August 12, 20196 yr Author The only other one I can find reads 19/08/12 15:09:41.168 37444 - ] # rxpGtnSim64.dll version 2.5.17.0 19/08/12 15:09:41.168 37444 INFO ] Does that help?

Are you sure you've reinstalled running the RXP software installer and you've not manually copied files around between computers? Can you confirm the installer didn't report any 'locked' file?
August 12, 20196 yr Author I have loaded the update and run it. It loaded and ran the Garmin installer. All the processes said that they have completed correctly. I have done it strictly by the instructions several times (such that I had to ask the e-commerce server to revalidate my revalidation.) I have not copied anything or done anything other than do what the the installer said. What should I do now? Sorry, I missed the other question. No, no locked files Edited August 12, 20196 yr by RXP
August 12, 20196 yr Author The only odd thing that did happen, come to think of it, is that the Brunner yoke complained about a missing dll and I reinstalled that software, so maybe you have an incompatibility with Brunner?
August 12, 20196 yr Author I have just run the install again and it did come up with an unreadable dll, I said retry and it appeared to work, so it looks like a glitch in the setup file.
August 12, 20196 yr Or it might be a glitch with Windows Defender or any other 3rd party AV program as seen lately. So is everything working ok now?
August 12, 20196 yr Author Not yet. I’m out now for a couple of days, but I’ll have another go when I get back. I guess another download?
August 14, 20196 yr Author Well, good news and bad news. I did a reinstall by reverting to the previous version and doing an upgrade (the only way I could get it to install) and it worked as a plug-in but the GTN was blank. So I reinstalled the Garmin Trainer and it now says this when started standalone. As you can see, the NVidia graphics card has drivers from April, so that cannot be the problem
