GTN closing when holding touch panel

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a touch screen where I set my GTN on my simulator and if I hold touch for a few seconds it closes the GTN. I found it when trying to move the map with the touch and the window got closed.

I checked the parameters in the settings, but there is nothing related to that. No further comments in the manual either. See the link of the video.

The same happen if I hold shitft and left or right click on the GTN.

This is quite boring as during flight it may get closed. =/

Thanks,

Filipe

Hi,

Makes perfect sense and it is all explained in the .ini file and in other discussions in this forum.

Review the "popleft" and "popright" settings, then also review the "Window handling" chapter in the RXP GTN User's Manual (at the beginning) to further understand what the SHIFT key as to do with it.

TL;DR: most likely your touchscreen interprets long presses as "right mouse button click"...

Hi there,

Sorry for the late response. I got it fixed.

Thanks for the details and prompt response.

Cheers,

Filipe

Hi, would you mind sharing how so that it can help other customers searching for answers in the forum in the future?

Sure, in fact I should've explained here.

The e-galaxy touch software for the touch panel I have, in the settings for mouse operation I have unselected the options "Enable constant touch" and "enable auto right click".

This solved the problem of closing the screen when holding the touch.

Cheers

Filipe

As I suspected. Thank you for the confirmation!
