January 8, 200620 yr As Taildragger so eloguently opined below: "Actually at this point FSX will likely be cutting features, not adding them." Sounds to me like the 'plane has left the hangar...Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. January 8, 200620 yr It suggests to me that they have numerous features (possibly including many ideas written here) but that the list needs some pruning. It does not suggest to me that it is too late to raise a suggestion as that could mean the difference between it being kept and maybe being dropped.
January 8, 200620 yr Any product has a list a mile long of things that the community and the developers would like to see in the final product. However, because of obvious time restrictions and limitations of current hardware and software not everything can get into a version of a product. I mean, if that were the case we would all be using Windows Vista 10 years ago :)All I know for certain is this... Development teams usually take on board what the community is saying and they aim to meet those requests. Some companies have realised that more proactive work with the community can help drive a product, Microsoft (Games Studio) are really pushing this concept as is obvious over the past 12 months or so.As a person who has met and worked with various product teams in Microsoft, I can say that you will not meet a better group of people that, I can assure you, want the best products and satisfied users. I am sure that this will shine through in the next FS release.
