Featured Replies

Not sure which sub forum to place this in - has anyone got the Scout flying in P3D v4.5 & if so how have you started it & got off the ground?

Thanks

The battery lever tootip does not say on or off. So make sure its to the right which is the red side.

Pump the air pump like 7 times.

Assign the landing light to a joystick button.

Make sure the mixture is forward.

This is important. To use the blip switch using the original magneto turn the left magneto to center bottom. Now click the blip switch (landing light) 1 time and click the crank starter. If it does not start click the blip again which now means its on. And start again. This will give you 100% power. use the blip switch to cut off the magneto in small quick interval to taxi and approach. And 100% to takeoff or fly.

Now to use the later modern magneto that does not use the blip put the left magneto to the far right. Now the right magneto is free to move. Put the right magneto 1 click to the right for low rpm. If it does not start click the blip 1 time. Now move the magneto more positions to the right to increase rpm. You have 4 total positions for power settings.

This magento basically misfires more and less based on the position and makes it easier to use then the original blip switch..

Good luck have fun and setup a joy button for the machine gun. Read the PDF.
