September 8, 20196 yr Both my display monitors are running at 1920 x 1080 but every so often when I first launch P3D I immediately get a message that states... Prepar3D requires a minimum display resolution of 1024 x 720. Would you like to change your display resolution? Whether I say YES or NO nothing happens. So I just restart P3D again and all is OK. Why does this happen and what can I do to fix it. I posted the issue as well on the LM Prepar3D forum. Regards, Dane - Windows 11 Home - CPU Intel Core i7-10700KF @3.8GHz - EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU - 1TB SSD DRIVE - RAM 32GB - MSFS-2020
September 10, 20196 yr Moderator @Dane Watson, one potential solution is to delete Prepar3d.cfg and let it generate a new one. You'll need to set all your preferences again though. September 10, 20196 yr I had this same problem that happened a few times, a couple of weeks ago. Then the problem just disappeared, and haven't had it since. ????
September 10, 20196 yr Author I am wondering if it is something to do with the last Windows 10 update which installed some sort of system which is supposed to improve game play. These messages started around that same time just a couple of weeks ago. I am going to ignore it for now as I really don't want to delete my prepar3d.cfg file at this time.
