September 8, 20196 yr Hi Dave: For awhile now it seems I cannot tune COMM2 ( in any plane) to an ATIS and hear it when I get in range. I am pretty sure I used to be able to do this. Is there a setting in P2A I screwed up to prevent COMM2 from being heard? I do not have "P2A provides ATIS" checked in the configs. Thanks!
September 9, 20196 yr Commercial Member If you don't have "P2A Provides ATIS" checked, then P2A is not going to provide ATIS, regardless of what frequency you have dialed in. You would need to turn the voice volume up and have it turned on in the SIM if you want to hear the SIM's ATIS. Dave
September 10, 20196 yr Author Thanks for the reply. I don't think I have ever had P2A provide ATIS. I have always had the sim provide ATIS, usually on COMM2. I noticed when I try to change the P2A radios to COMM2, it jumps back to COMM1 and seems to repeat the last transmission I (the CO-Pilot) had on COMM1 and P2A (atc) replies. This may have always worked this way, and I had just never tried it till I couldn't get the SIMs COMM2 to play the ATIS. As I have the CO-PILOT handling the radios, that may be the reason.
