Which DC-9/MD-80 for FS2004I

SGA DC-9/MD-8X series, with Samuli's panel and the SGA sound package. No, there's no FMS on the panel, but just about everything else works, the sounds are great, and the model is amazing. Best part is, they're all freeware. Plenty of repaints available too.

If you want payware the coolsky MD-80 is very good. But beware, it has many problems with out of memory errors when other add on's are installed. A problem the developer has been unable to fix so far. Because of that it has been sitting in the hangar for me or going on 100-200 mile short hops.If your looking for something in that era I highly reccomend the Dreamfleet 727. It has a slew of models (100/200/100 with WL/200 with winglets with cargo and pax versions for each) and too many paint schemes to count. Not to mention an awesome built in RXP weather radar. It also has old style panel and a newer glass cockpit all easy to configure with a font end loader. I thinks it's only $30.It is by far my most favortie oldie to fly.

I like the Jet City models the best. There are various panel you can pair with them from freeware to payware. For freeware there are Leon Seale's upgrades of the classic Paul Golding panels and for payware I like the Eaglesoft MD-80 panel a lot.Lee
