In P3d for example, I have the ability to buy new scenery, planes, weather, etc. and download it on my PC. The sims performance is based on my PC specs as well. So would the Xbox version mean that performance would not be an issue unless I have poor downloads? If buying a "PMDG type" aircraft (assuming there will be some), would this be done through the Game Pass? Would my PC come into play at all? That is where I am unsure. Because in this sense, I think the Xbox would be the way to go in terms of performance. Xbox games rarely facilitate modding or addons created by anyone but the creator of the game. If you want to add PMDG planes or whatever, you'll likely need the PC version.

In this case there is no reason Microsoft couldn't allow developers to sell their add-ons to Xbox users through the Xbox online store. In fact, I would suggest this would be critical for the Xbox version to succeed.
