October 25, 20196 yr MS, unless the mentioned partner announcement kickoff originally scheduled for Oct 17 was meant to be a "silent" announcement to the partners only, when can we expect any updates here? Just wondering, since you did not use the opportunity to update the v3.1 DDR when you posted it yesterday and it still mentions the very same Oct 17 as kickoff date. Did I miss anything? October 25, 20196 yr Kick-off means start for their team. It is only an info for us. You will get the information at release (i think mid november, not sure)
October 25, 20196 yr This was posted on the 17th October update, it appears they weren't ready yet so they moved the official announcement to mid-November: PARTNER ANNOUNCEMENT SERIES KICKOFF We are in the final stages of preparing to release our first series of announcements as part of our Partnership Announcement Series. While we are still working on wrapping up the final few details, we are targeting mid-November for officially kicking off this series which will provide insight into all the amazing partnerships taking part in the development of the next generation of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
October 25, 20196 yr Author OK, so I assumed correctly that it would be an external announcement but behind schedule. Fine then EDIT double checked with v3.1 DRR again, everything on that DR is outward means towards the community which makes sense as I would assume a ton of detailed internal DR topics none of us even cares about. But all those media updates, feature discoveries and - yes - partner announcements are all targeted at us as FS community. So we will hopefully learn soon about (first) partners. whereas that still makes me wonder why MS did not update the DRR reflecting the re-scheduling here Edited October 25, 20196 yr by DAD Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
