I've experienced some connection issues for the last few days, are you guys doing any work as of late? Also wanted to ask, should the donors see the video advertisement between the posts?

The 500 Server error continues and the AVSIM Tech is aware of it.  He recently updated the site to the latest software and has gone back to a backup of the site.  He continues to troubleshoot this error. 

The advertising (Google Choice) has been turned on just like other Flight Sim Websites.  AVSIM needs this advertising income to help keep the site up and running.  Currently, most of AVSIM's income is from member and guest donations and some flight simulation advertising.  Although donations show AVSIM has a little over $25K, this might be misleading as donations are used to help pay our bandwidth costs, emergency funding, and other general costs that crop up from time to time.
