November 1, 20196 yr Are there any good tips in terms of getting the shimmering in the cockpit (particularly white letters when illuminated)? I went to 4.5 hf 2 and seem to have shimmering going on and I don't know how to stop them. I know it is somewhat of an issue with P3d as a whole, but it seems a lot worse to me lately. Here are my graphics settings FXAA- On 8MSAA AA x 16 Texture resolution High 3440x1440x32 Vsynch - On Triple Buffering - On I have a GTX 1060 6gb. Thanks! November 1, 20196 yr Commercial Member Try SSAA instead of MSAA, is very good against shimmering, especially with text. FXAA can stay off, Try different levels of SSAA, to see how they affect fps on your video card. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook
November 2, 20196 yr Author I'll give it a try but SSAA really slows my system. I did notice though that the lights at night with my settings were not that bad. The shimmering was during the day/.
