Current LG OLED TVs to receive NVIDIA G-SYNC upgrade

"Current model year OLED TVs from LG Electronics will receive a firmware update starting this week allowing for enhanced gameplay via NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible technology.

NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility will be available on LG’s 2019 OLED TV models E9 (65 and 55 inches), C9 (77, 65 and 55 inches) as well as B9 (65 and 55 inches) and will arrive first to LG customers in parts of North America followed by markets in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, etc. before the end of the year."

Prices on 4K TVs is falling because 8K models are now coming out. 8K only makes sense for really big screens 75-120".

The LG B9 OLED with G-Sync is nice, but I'd probably wouldn't use G-Sync as I don't want variables time-frames.  OLED theoretically has no problem operating 500-100,000 Hz provide there had and image processor fast enough.  QLED/LED technology pixel charge rates are just orders of magnitude slower than OLED.  

But like Jay indicates, my local Best Buy's 8K TV's are flying out the door for Black Friday sales and 4K's are really cheap these days.

Speaking of 8K ... anyone using one with flight sims and how's the FPS and what AA are you using?
