November 4, 20196 yr Hi fellow Captns - How do you mute the sound of the ILS markers ? At some airports, immediately after liftoff, the sound of the markers (esp the highest pitched IM) is super annoying since it is so loud. I like loud engine sounds on takeoff so I 'turn it up to 10' but at KSEA as example, takeoff from 34L results in the IM blaring and it is shockingly loud. This is on P3D 4.5 in the NGX800. I've tried everything I can think of. thanks, rgds, JB 9800x3d, ASUS TUF x870, 64GB G.Skill DDR5, MSI Ventus 4080, HP Reverb G2 VR, FlyVirtual.net, Private Pilot SEL rating, subLogic FlightSim 1983 & every release since

If that happens, it doesn't matter if the MKR channel is active or inactive in our plane (the underlying sim plays it). Kyle Rodgers

Welcome - I'm only on here occasionally, so if it pops back up, feel free to reach out in our new forum (forum.pmdg.com) and someone should be able to sort you out! My default flight was a stock aircraft with —-markers audio “on”! Turning it off, then save as default eliminates the issue.
