I guess they had some setbacks. I used the KPDX scenery to be released by Flightscenery at the AVsim Conference. The reps were speculating that this week-end the product would be ready for sale. I have been eagerly standing by with CC in hand, but I guess I can wait a few more days since I got an early taste...lolKroswynd

This scenery IMO is on another level, it really is quite amazing. I cant wait to get it.

"This scenery IMO is on another level, it really is quite amazing. "Absolutely. I can't see how it could be made better, or more real. I predict that, shortly after the 29th, the forums are going to fill with accolades over this scenery.. . and besides being one of the "Best of the Best", it certainly adds to FlyTampa's KSEA and Holger's Washington area and so fills a void for a lot of folks. We now have fabulous new VFR to explore, and a great new addition to the trip south. I remember the first experiences with Rhode Island; landing at Quonset and glancing at the cracks and the grass on and around the runways as you touch - all those little things that Vauchez talks about in the sales blurb. It will also serve to maintain FS9 for a while longer, 'cos FSX is going to mean a pretty hefty hardware upgrade for most of us. Having this calibre of addon, though, means I can hold off for another year.

Just as an FYI to those who may be wondering in their heads...Vauchez is offering a FREE upgrade to FSX for his Portland scenery. So worry not about the fact that he's releasing it so close to FSX release date.He apparently forgot to add that bit to his info/pricing page.

Will Rhode Island be upgraded? Not for free that I dont care about that, I just hope we will see that in FSX

Andrew

I talked to him and he said that YES they do plan on upgrading Rhode Island for FSX.The 'when' and 'how much' are another story.. no set time frame or dollar amounts yet.
