November 10, 20196 yr Hi I trying to test flyinside with Chaseplane, but got stuck with this message. Reading in different thread they Advice to unistall Chaseplane . I not going to do so is there any other option? VR is really fantastic and maybe CP should take care of those other tool to work together.
November 10, 20196 yr I had the same issue. I believe Chaseplane, when you install it, disables the "Virtual Cockpit" camera, and replaces it with its own. You can find your Cameras.cfg file, (it tells you where it its in the error message you get) and reactivate the "Virtual Cockpit" by removing the // that is in front of all the entries for that camera. I have shown what mine looks like below. Make a copy of this file, before you do anything, just in case you need to revert back to it. FlyInside will now work, as the original "Virtual Cockpit" camera will available again, but you will find your Chaseplane views will not work, unless you switch your view to "Virtual Cockpit-Chaseplane" that's in the "view menu" under current view. I don't use Chaseplane views when I'm using VR (FlyInside) so for me, switching between the camera views is not a big deal, when I choose to fly without VR. //[CameraDefinition.002] //Title = Virtual Cockpit //Guid = {C95EAB58-9E4A-4E2A-A34C-D8D9D948F078} //Description = This is the description of the virtual cockpit view. //Origin = Virtual Cockpit //MomentumEffect = Yes //SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel //SnapPbhReturn = False //PanPbhAdjust = Swivel //PanPbhReturn = False //Track = None //ShowAxis = YES //AllowZoom = TRUE //InitialZoom = 0.7 //SmoothZoomTime = 2.0 //ZoomPanScalar = 1.0 //ShowWeather = Yes //XyzAdjust = TRUE //ShowLensFlare=FALSE //Category = Cockpit //PitchPanRate=30 //HeadingPanRate=75 //PanAcceleratorTime=0 //HotKeySelect=1 // Rick i9-14900KS OC to 5.8 Ghz | 64 GIG- G.Skill 7200 RAM | Asus ROG Maximus z790 Hero Motherboard | Gigabyte RTX 5090 OC | 47" Samsung 4K Monitor I Pimax Crystal Super 50 HMD I Varjo Aero HMD I Windows 11
