November 18, 20196 yr I was asking myself if it is "state of the art" that a company like LM is only acting behind "closed doors" and why wouldn´t they intereact more with the community like others do (like X PLane and Microsoft par example)? So not just handling issues on their forum....but give us more perspectives. Of course I know they are a lttle different and we are not their only customers. But shouldn´t it be better for both if they interact more with us to develop the P3D simulator? Are we maybe not that "important" and really such a small "group" of users that they don´t need this interaction? At this momnent I would really like to know which plans they have to enhance their product in a way their users (like me and you) would like to see it. Why? because I think that "others" are one step faster by making plans transparent and give "us" little hinds about their "vision" and "mission". Transparancy helps in increasing trust and ellaborating partnerships. I don´t have ANY business numbers and facts about their goals and targets (also goals that go beyond the hobby simmers like a lot of us). But I assume this is a big industry and we are already part of their market. What do you guys think? Would you like more transparancy about further developments and plans which serve us as a user market? Regards, Marcus P.
November 18, 20196 yr Unless they're planning to update their license to the latest version of MS' engine, I'm not sure it matters.
