  1. Any chance this will at some point enable weather radar in Fenix A320?
  2. You need to be in NAV or APP rather than HDG SEL over the decel point. The decel point will be in purple rather than white on the ND. See the video above.
  3. In the blackbox video, it's called an "early stabilised" approach. i.e you're stabilized at the FAF rather than 1000ft.
  4. Ok - but isn't the aircraft too fast at that point? It only gets to the green dot at the FAF. Thanks.
  5. https://youtu.be/AjobHR_4LQA Flaps 1 at 12:05 - at 12:40 there seems to be no further deceleration towards S Loses centre line during rollout at 15:50 - Also, why no TCAS warning here? "TA only" is on the ND.
  6. If I save a flight mid-cruise then load it again, the FMC is uninitialised (E.g. no flight plan, etc).
  7. I've tried a couple of autolands to ILS08R EGKK in the Fenix A320. A couple of questions: - With managed speed, the speed comes down to green dot and I put in flaps one - but then the speed doesn't come down to S speed. This chart https://www.smartcockpit.com/docs/Airbus_A320-ILS_Approach_Landing.pdf and a couple of other things I've read suggests to me it should. - After landing, I see Rollout displayed and both APs are on, but the aircraft doesn't seem to hold the centre line - it veers a little bit left. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
  8. Sort of. First time I loaded crash to desktop. Second time everything dark (when starting on runway). Third time seems to be ok.
  9. Why does the ECAM say Flaps: Full on approach when conf 3 selected on approach page in MCDU?
  10. Is there a trick to initialising ZFW as on other aircraft? (i.e. double clicking) What's the passcode to the EFB? I need to watch some more vids? 😆
  11. Quite useful for getting large jets to take-off from short runways
  12. 787 catapult launches are 😁 https://youtu.be/ddV_R6Bv5L0
  13. They're presumably just reusing all of the stuff they created for TrueEarth England, so nothing to lose. Creating new sets might be a different story.
  14. ATC as ambitious as the scenery. Lets give them some specific ideas: - Voice recognition for interaction with AI ATC - Allow mixture of AI and human ATC in online multiplayer, so you get AI ATC coverage where human controllers aren't available - Regional phraseology (E.g. millibars vs hectopascals - feet vs metres - point vs decimal in frequencies - stand vs gate etc) - Regional accents for ATC and AI pilots - Support SIDS and STARS (updatable by Navigraph, etc) - Should be able to interact with ground crew for pushback - Request diversion to planned alternate during IFR - Request routing around bad weather - Handle go-arounds / missed approaches - Handle aborted take-offs (retry, go back to gate, or request emergency services) - Support planned step climbs - Respect / monitor speed & altitude constraints - Request different approach / runway for landing or takeoff (sometimes this seems supported, but not always) - IFR clearance should read out full route - ATC should understand transition altitude and use feet vs flight levels as appropriate in messages and also not tell you that you're at the wrong altitude, because you've transitioned to a flight level - Declare an emergency and divert to nearest airport - Holdings - Better separation of aircraft - Terrain aware vectoring - Real airline names - It would be good if the ATC was extendible via the SDK. If phraseology was controlled by some user accessible configuration files, community could localize / improve it - Allow builtin ATC to be turned off fully, for those using third party ATC
  15. Outside view is immense, but interior displays (MFDs) look at a bit simple. Early days though, of course.
  16. Unless they're planning to update their license to the latest version of MS' engine, I'm not sure it matters.
  17. TacPack doesn't work with P3D Pro, does it, so not much use unless you are a student.
  18. For take-off from 27, they taxi down runway 9, then use the taxi way at the end to correctly turnaround and line up on the runway.
  19. Saw two land on 27, so can't comment on backtracking - but they both parked facing the terminal.

Aircraft manufacturers are working on electric motors for taxiing. No need for tow trucks for pushback either. https://www.safran-landing-systems.com/systems-equipment/electric-taxiing-0
  21. Not even when they agree there is a problem and try to provide a fix for it? 😂
