Addon Compatibility Check Result issue 737NGXu.

Featured Replies

Just after some help please.

I have the licences for 737,747 & 777 cdu's and overheads where available.

I own the PMDG 747, 737NGX (uninstalled after release of 737NGXu) and 737NGXu.

All licences show up and are in green.

I get  the following when running the compatibility check:

PMDG 737 NGX is Not compatible. Invalid version! (it's uninstalled)

PMDG 737 NGXu is Not compatible. Invalid version!

PMDG 747 is compatible and supports the EFB - All set!

In the 737NGXu_Options.ini file I have listed at the bottom:

[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1

On running the 737NGXu all starts off fine and all cdu's and the overheads works OK even though I get the above result.

Eventually though the cdu's freeze on the iPad and I can only use the aircraft panels cdu's in the sim

iPad and sim pc are on the same internet network.

Latest Win10 update, Simserver version 5.7.0.0 and PMDG's OC 2 says I have the latest aircraft versions.

I sent a help request through the Simserver program several days ago but as yet no response.

Any suggestions please?

Cheers.

Hi Mark,

I've just resent it through the Simserver "Get Help" tab and received the auto response support email.

Thanks for sending me your logfile - indeed, there is a small issue. It's trying to check the NGX's compatibility and not the NGXu's.

As such, this is just a nuissance warning and everything should function normally. It's strange that you say that it froze up during operation - that should not happen.

Did you perhaps load the aircraft upon itself? This also happens if you load a flight from a saved situation. That's a limitation on PMDG's side, not on mine.

Maybe that explains the issue?
Anyway, if it happens again, please send me your logfile - maybe that will help.

Regards

Mark

It's nice to speak directly.

I think you're right, I was resuming from a saved situations...wife doesn't understand that you just cannot walk out of the cockpit to help prepare dinner....
