I have a small problem 

I have an 1 inch wide strip appeared on the top of my monitor showing ATC  instructions to passing plane traffic 

I must have pressed a button or ticked a box-a bit annoying 

Can anybody help me to remove it?

Go to settings, sound, uncheck text ATC messages.

Currently giving X-Plane 12.10 a spin on Shadow PC. 10 years with X-Plane now, since 10.20

Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
