November 30, 20196 yr Not sure if you know this, but in real world, the F/A-18s are not certified for GPS navigation in civilian airspace (unless that has changed in the last 18 months). All IFR filed flight plans must be based off of VOR radials and distances, even though the aircraft internal nav databases are quite complete. PS they also do not do civilian ILS approaches. I know that, the GTN make every plane better in my opinion. I just won't use the F-18 if can't be used with the GTN.
