October 7, 200619 yr I have found a way to use UTCanada without overlapping elevations at rivers (a mess really) and overlapping coastlines too I thinkI HIDE all cvx####.bgl files from the scenery/301 folder (Eastern Canada, ONLY the 301 folder for that area only) with the UTCanada folder copied over fromn FS9 into addon scenery for FSX and activated. So far very good results. DO NOT DELETE files in FSX hide them by transferring to a new folder inside the one you are using.UNFORTUNATLY I think I lost all roads.SO I think some work can be done on these files to keep the roads? Reading up on the SDK now.... IF I encounter more problems though (no roads YECCH ...) will imform yas.allen
October 7, 200619 yr Author FSX has a more jagged river vectoring than UTMeaning the contour is not smooth like in UT CanadaAnd the rivers are not extended to inland as much except when larger,UT has more detail of the same rivers, nice snaking small rivers...
October 7, 200619 yr reports of your research much appreciated--my purchase decision hangs by this thread;-)

The roads and mesh are fine in FS-X but shorelines and rivers are really lacking if your used to UT. October 7, 200619 yr Author I cannot hide those cvx files cause they contain the road vectors.Im using UT as is and putting up with the occasional misshapIm also using Canada roads to increase the FSX default But this is all testingIf I remoce the cvx and use only Canada Roads and UT for info, I get trees all over the airport tarmack (add-on airport anyway)
