Couatl crashes

Hi all,

I haven`t used the pc for month and had to update some addons. After updating gsx today when i open the menu (Ctrl+Shift+F12)  a window opens and on it says that couatl crashes and after this i have the option to restart it or quit so after i choose to restart couatl i try again and the same thing happens.

Have you run the LiveUpdate to get to the latest version? Umberto is pretty good at resolving bugs quickly.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have and as i found online there can be problems which can`t be fixed with live updater unfortunately ;(

So  what  cant  be  fixed  and  where  did  you  find  this  info,  if  you want  it  solved  than  post  your issues  on the  fsdt  forum

Searched on google and i believe it was on the fsdt forum and i will post the problem there once i get home.

Completed the live updater and now the log changed:

You won't indicate the faulting module so it is nearly impossible to help you.  Some have received the ucrtbase.dll faulting module and that is connected with Microsoft's Redistributables (the program used for installation of an add-on.

Check your anti-virus program and make sure the anti-virus program hasn't quarantined something related.  There should be NO entries in your anti-virus program that were not allowed to run or be installed.

I had this issue awhile back and it was caused by TacPack and Couatl not playing nice together.   Just had to figure out which addon was causing the conflict and then avoid using them together.

Searched "couatl" in windows search and deleted everything and after a fresh install gsx seems to be working. Thanks for the help!
