Was looking at the HC TQ (see pic below) when comparing it to other options and would like clarification on a few things if possible:

1. Should I assume the programmable switches are the same type of SPDT switches as on the HC yoke, so each switch represents two logic switches but if one is on the other is off?  On the other hand, if these are momentary contact type rocker switches that would be better because then you can use each physical switch to independently control two functions (one function would not have to be off when the other is on).

2. On the right side of the AP panel there is a rotary potentiometer,  labeled DECR/INCR, and on the left side of the AP panel there is a rotary switch labeled ALT, HDG, CRS (I think), and some other things I can’t quite make out. So does the DECR/INCR pot change the value of the parameter selected by the switch on the left?

3. One of the AP buttons is labeled ARP. What is that? At first I thought it stood for Approach, but wouldn't that be APR?

Thx,

Al

I noticed that too.  I believe the photos are still of an early mock up or prototype, so they have obviously had time to change that.

OK Frank, that seems reasonable. I don't understand why they don't update their website. It would also be helpful if they would make documentation available on their website like other vendors do. It would probably help sales if folks understood how things worked.

Thx,

Al
