Hello all,

I posted the following on the general discussion forum but, as I got no response, I am assuming I have posted in the wrong arena.

This is a problem which is making XPlane 11 unflyable for me. I have no idea on what the problem is, nor do I have any idea regarding how to fix it.

"I am really hoping to get some guidance here with this problem.

I am unable to centre the yoke (roll) on my Saitek yoke in calibration mode.

The output readings for Pitch is 0.5000-0.5000.  In flight this is quite OK

Roll  outout is .0.1992-0.1996. In flight I roll dramatically to the left  and to achieve level flight I am using the yoke fully right hand down and data output is reading roughly 0.3445

rudder is 1.0000-1.0000. In flight all is ok.

I have read many topics on this one and all point to a hardware issue or a Windows10 software problem.  Normally I would accept this, BUT,

1. P3Dv4.5 yoke operation is normal ... calibration (in Sim) carried out post flight and all OK

2. FS2004  yoke operation is normal ... Same as P3D

3. Aeroflyfs2 yoke operation is normal, ... same as P3D, and

4. DCS operation is normal. ... same as P3D.

I have done a Windows 10 calibration and all seems normal.

I have disabled the yoke, disconnected the yoke, rebooted the computer, plugged in the yoke, downloaded the Saitek/logitech 64bit yoke driver and installed the driver, rebooted the computer again, checked Device Manager for any problems with the yoke, discovered nothing so I got back into Xplane 11 to find exactly the same problem. In all other sims the yoke is still working normally.

I am aware that my data output figures are abnormal and should read 1.0000 - 1.0000 for all axis.

Any ideas on what I can do from here??"

New out output figures this morning on start up (Roll only)

ailrn -full left joystick deployment 0.1979

          full right joystick deploymentn  0.1971

           Joystick centrred -0.926

After Calibration

           Full left joystick deployment -0.1983

           full right deployment 0.1974

            centered -0.0283

In order to fly straight and level I have rudder deployed  to output level 0,4113 and aileron output 0.2339.

I am still not having problems in other Sim Platforms.

Can someone please help me

Regards

Tony

Hello Tony

In order to see what raw values are coming from the yoke, can you do following:

In Windows,  Game Controller Calibration: reset to default.

Use DIView to check raw values:
http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=page&id=12

In DIView, in the window that shows the aileron, right click in that window and activate "view raw value".
Report raw value min/max range: red number at the left of the scale and at the right of the scale.
Report actual raw value: red number in the middle/bottom for aileron left, center and right.
Move aileron smoothly from left to right and check if the red triangle moves smoothly from left to right.
In the window that shows the aileron, right click, and then activate calibration: report the values in the box for minimum, center and maximum.
