Windows 7 support or not?

And my tech guy switched me from Windows 10 to Windows 7 because it "works better" in October.

P.S., it runs too ... the Volvo.. not windows 7!😁

Hi Mike,

For me, in my code, it is just a matter of changing two macro definitions telling the compiler what the minimum target OS is, so no problem at all.

However, if I target Win 7 the compiler has to use backwards compatible system libraries it cannot use the more optimised modern Win 10 system libraries.

So as long as MS Visual Studio C++ provides that targeting mechanisme I  could continue giving Win 7 support.

That sounds great.
If the compatible library’s are not impacting performance it should be no problem for anybody.
That sounds very exciting.
All we need is good data and we will reached Nirvana.....
