January 23, 20206 yr Anyone else seeing (or not to be more accurate) this? The first 3 images I had cached in my browser, but the rest were not showing. After a force refresh (CTRL - F5) none of them load. Tried this on 4 different browsers across 3 different servers each in different locations. These are the large images (typically screenshots) that are set as the background image at the top of the screen. Trying to browse manually to one of the image locations brings a 301 redirect back to the main page. edit: I found it rather interesting that they are using WordPress.... January 23, 20206 yr Just checked and only the first three are loading too. Those were added after the X019 trailer, while the five older ones were taken from the E3 trailer. This seems to happen consistently now, though lots of times in the past the website failed to load correctly for me. Things like the entire carousel and the grey background would be missing.
January 23, 20206 yr Let me put it that way. I hope and expect that the person in charge of the site, will not be in charge of the scenery streaming. January 23, 20206 yr The site in general could use an update. Browsing through the Development updates takes lots of scrolling (lots of unused space in the sides that could be utilised for a complete list), there's no immediate info for anyone who is just discovering the game or the franchise (and they're not going to scroll through all the updates), the Media tab is outdated, and the Insider Home could be somewhat less messy.
January 24, 20206 yr Author Aha they have now removed all but 3 images... and the second one has been changed (was the Icon A5). Bring back the 748i please, but at least it now works 😉
January 24, 20206 yr Not sure why that second one was changed, considering it now clearly shows a tester's watermark. There are tons of great in-house screenshots they can pick from.
