APU Bleed in newest build(s)

Recommended Posts

So I've now done around 5-6 flights with the new build, and I've noticed this every time. After doing the after landing checklist, and shutting down at the gate, the FO no longer selects the APU bleed to "ON". She'll start the APU during taxi like the configuration says, but she won't actually select it to "on". And I've shut down the engines thinking that she has, when she hasn't.

The following settings re: the APU are set to "YES".

- START APU A. LDG CHECKLIST - YES
- USER STARTS APU (PRE-FLIGHT) - YES

And I can confirm in other builds, the FO started the APU Bleed.

All the right things are being done, and it seems like the macro is working when clicking that Line Select Key (though it's activating via right-click to turn on/off, but not sure if that's normal or not). This is in the A320, also.

I should correct myself here. She turns on the bleed, but the APU master is never started, even when in the CFG area, the APU bleed setting turn on during after landing checklist is set to "YES".

This event should only affect preflight, though, right? Curious why that would affect a taxi-in. Will change it to "no" to see if that changes anything.

For what it's worth, I've never changed that, and it's worked before. Will test still.

Additionally, in the APP page, "START APU TAXI IN" has always been set to YES.

Pardon me... I completely misread that.

Yes, that option is Pre-Flight only and not relevant.

Are you 1000 percent sure you're triggering the 1st part of the parking flow.

Descent Mode = yes.

Nose light = off

Parking Brake Handle = set

Checklist Mode = <<PARKING>>

When you do that, you should see this flashing on the FS2Crew Main Panel:

>PARKING FLOW->PRE SHUTDOWN
