October 11, 200619 yr On a serious note I was wondering what number of trees would be needed to replicate a real forest. A lot more than 6000 per terrain cell (1 square KM??)?
October 11, 200619 yr I'm not sure but FSX my limit out on 4500 for the trees. I have only lowed the settings not upped them. Just save your cfg file and try different numbers. I know once you set them don't move your silders.
October 11, 200619 yr Author I think this sets the maximum so as you lower or raise the slider it adjusts the amount of autogen relative to the numbers you enter, at least that's what I'm gathering from his blog. I'm not sure if these set the current slider setting or are the max number though so if you have the slider at sparse and set these numbers does it set the sparse slider setting?Ian.
