CLT payware

Hey Guys.  I'm currently running imaginesim for this airport.  I suppose it's done the job.  But it's annoying not having GSX or even dynamic lighting.  But for an airport I don't fly to that often I'm struggling paying 24 dollars to upgrade to the FSDT.  Does anybody have any opinions on this one?

It’s well in line with FSDT’s normal level of quality, I enjoy flying from it.

I hear you on cost vs frequency of use.  I typically wait on buying airports that I won’t use a lot for a sale.  FSDT usually has a few decent sales every year.

The FSDT version of KCLT does not include dynamic lighting, although there is a mod available on the iniBuilds site that adds it.

yes I see that in the inibuilds site.  I was surprised not to find a gsx profile for IS CLT anywhere.  Oh well.  Thanks

It does in fact include dynamic lighting. I'm not sure why inibuilds has their own profile. Maybe to improve performance?

You don't need a GSX profile for CLT. Since it's a semi-recent FSDT product the jetways are SODE and integrated with GSX by default.

I'm very thankful for everything inibuilds does.  But I do wish they had better descriptions of these kind of things on their site.  They still have GSX/DL for some airports where the airport itself has been updated.  It would be nice if it said, "This is an updated DL for the default DL that increases or ...."

we are talking about the imaginesim one needing a gsx profile.  It has non-moving gates.

I went back and looked...it does appear there is DL on the airport, but FSDT's couatl software only turns on some of the dynamic lights (the ones closest to the acft).  The iniBuilds config provides full DL around the airport (at some performance cost on weaker computers).  Also, some of the ground surfaces (like grass around the runways) do not illuminate with dynamic lighting due to the age of some of the scenery components.
