I just bought gtn 750 and during the trainer setup I get a 404 error, the url is broken. This is not a nice thing to encounter after paying for something. How long has this been going on?

From what I can tell on the Garmin website the trainer was updated on march 4th. https://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-00820-50

 

Btw, is the forum the only way to get support?

 

Edit: I have tried installing the newer trainer but all my gauges are black. I guess it isn't compatible.

I just saw the stickied thread, I did scan the threads before opening this one but I have missed it. Anyway, I got it to work by modifying 2.5.0 link to 2.6.0 and installing that.

Still, there should be a better error message on the installer. Just giving me 404 after I just purchased it is not cool. Just mention the thread at least.

We're sorry for the unfortunate out-the-box experience, but we're just released a new update now compatible with the latest GTN Trainer v6.62.3 included in the Garmin Trainers 2.7.0.0 installer!
